Your little shoppers can browse our selection of great children’s books (most for 50 cents) and other purchases such as puzzles. Bring home the bargain buys in a roomy book bag! The book shop is open whenever the library is open. Your purchases benefit children’s programs at the library and other library programs

Pop-Up Book Sale Offers Bargains on Best Sellers and More

Come find bargains at the Friends of the Brentwood Library Pop-Up Sale Feb. 24 from 10 a.m. to
2 p.m. on the second floor of the Brentwood Library, 104 Oak St., Brentwood.

Featuring a large selection of used books by best-selling authors, the sale includes paperback
books (six for $1); children, young adults, and adult fiction and non-fiction books, as well as
jigsaw puzzles, educational materials, and more.

All proceeds from the sale benefit the Brentwood Library. Money raised by the Friends supports
purchases of furnishings, craft programs for adults, and a wide array of children’s programs.

Library and Friends of the Library Receive Multiple Medals in Best of Brentwood Magazine

Library, Friends win medals

The Brentwood Library and the Friends of the Brentwood Library were big winners in the 2023 Winners Guide, published by the Press. The guide lists businesses and organizations considered the Best of Brentwood. The Library won a Gold Medal for Best Use of Government Money and a Silver Medals for Best Place for Family Recreation and Best Place to Show a Visitor. The Friends received a Bronze Medal in the Best Non-Profit category, and the Second Story Bookshop received a Silver Medal in the Best Resale Shop category.
