Foreign Language Books Needed

Foreign Language Books Needed

FOBL is looking to expand our foreign language children’s collections! If your family has foreign language children’s books you’d like to pass on to new families, please consider donating them to the Friends of the Brentwood Library. Our Second Story Book Shop is seeking to diversify our collection to better reflect and serve our multi lingual speaking families. Books can be donated to our shop, upstairs at the Brentwood Library. Summer Reading Program

Summer Reading Program

Prizes are being distributed to the winners of a drawing for the Brentwood Library’s summer
reading program. More than 800 children completed the program, making the Brentwood
Library’s program among the top three in the county. After a drawing was completed, 55
children received a chance to choose a toy from the prize cabinet at the Library’s entrance.
Thanks to the supporters of the Friends of the Brentwood Library in supporting this
important program.

Take your Children Shopping

Take your Children Shopping

There’s a great shopping destination for your kids in downtown Brentwood–the Second Story Book Shop on the second floor of the Brentwood Library. Your little shoppers can browse our selection of great children’s books (most for 50 cents) and other purchases such as puzzles. Bring home the bargain buys in a roomy book bag! The book shop is open whenever the library is open. Your purchases benefit children’s programs at the library and other library programs
